TAS supports various aircraft applications for smooth flying in Japan.
As with cars, when a new aircraft is purchased, it must be registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. A brand new registration is required for aircrafts that are imported from overseas. Change of ownership, address, aircraft parking, and other details require a registration amendment. When an aircraft is destroyed, an erasure registration must be filed.
Based on the Radio Law one must open and register a mobile radio station. To obtain a license, an application must be sent to the Regional Bureau of Telecommunications.
